Old World
Crafted in Cuba — the birthplace of the handmade premium cigar. Centuries of terroir, Habanos tradition, and a strictly regulated industry define every leaf.
Leaf Composition
Contains medio tiempo leaf — found only at the apex of select Vuelta Abajo tobacco plants.
Growing Region — Vuelta Abajo
World's most storied tobacco; produces wrapper, binder, and filler of unmatched complexity
The most storied tobacco growing region in the world. Limestone-rich lowland soil in western Cuba. Produces the wrapper, binder, and filler used by virtually all Habanos S.A. brands. The unique soil chemistry — red clay over limestone — and the morning mists from the Viñales valley create conditions impossible to replicate elsewhere.
