The unique soil chemistry — red clay over limestone — and the morning mists from the Viñales valley create conditions impossible to replicate elsewhere.

Founded 1844 by German banker Hermann Upmann, who opened both a bank and a cigar factory in Havana. The No.2 torpedo has appeared on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list more times than any other Cuban cigar. The brand was among Churchill's personal favourites alongside Romeo y Julieta.
